Film transfer: 35mm and 16mm

Broadcast-quality transfers from 16mm motion picture film to video using the MWA Flashtransfer16. Broadcast-quality transfers from 35mm picture film to video using the Bosch FDL-60. Color correction and scratch reduction via wet-gate options available.
Basic rate: 20 cents per a foot of film plus $5 per a reel ($30 transfer fee minimum) plus the cost of media. Scratch reducing wet-gate extra. Color correction extra. Excessive film cleaning extra. Extra handling fees may apply if excessive film repair or splicing is required.

Home Movies! Film transfer: 8mm and Super8

Film is delicately transferred via Tobin Cinema Systems HD telecines. Each frame is individually captured giving an extremely high quality flicker-free image. Color correction and image sharpening option available.
Basic rate: 20 cents per a foot of film plus $2 per a reel ($20 transfer fee minimum) plus the cost of media (authoring a DVD-R is $20, miniDV is $10). Color correction extra. Excessive film cleaning extra. Extra handling fees may apply if excessive film repair or splicing is required.

Consumer media rate: $30 per content hour (VHS/VHS-C, 8mm/Hi8/Digital8, miniDV, Betamax, HDV) plus $1 per a tape ($20 transfer fee minimum) plus the cost of media.

Professional media rate: $70 per content hour (Beta SP, Umatic, 1" C open reel, DVCAM, DVCPRO, MII, Digibeta) plus $1 per a tape ($30 transfer fee minimum) plus the cost of media (hard drives, etc).

Professional Obsolete media rate: $90 per content hour (Umatic, 1" C open reel, MII) plus $5 per a tape ($60 transfer fee minimum) plus the cost of media (hard drives, etc).

Uploading to YouTube, Internet Archive and other online sites also available.

DVD authoring

We do professional-quality DVD authoring at reasonable rates. Basic rate: $20 per DVD-R (no menus). Reasonable hourly rate for DVDs with menus.
